Where I no longer know myself.
Thus begins my first roadtrip. Piercing through the darkness of the night, traveling ever northbound. Journeying ever closer, mile by mile to our goal.
Left at 11:30pm.
Arrived at 1:30pm
Tiring as it is, the thought of leaving, of seeing something new was worthwhile.
Seattle.
I had no real expectation. It was described as the land of milk an honey. I was less than impressed the first day. I could see the surface, and the cracks below showing only a part of themselves, enough to intrigue me enough to be talked into staying another day. I'm glad I did. I like it there. It's got a weird indescribable charm to it. I could see myself living there, if I can find work. I said goodbye, and thanked her friends for letting me stay, and parted ways on the journey eastward.
Spokane.
Not as bad as everyone from Seattle made it seem. They made it seem like i was doing something wrong by going, and I was expecting something like Lancaster, based on everyone's opinion of the place. It's nice seeing miles, but I don't l know... I kind of wish I had just made plans to visit Seattle. I feel more comfortable there, but maybe it's just because of her. Regardless, I'm not sure what to expect here. I've got a few days to figure things out.
